HealthPartners names Steve Konnath new senior vice president of actuarial and underwriting
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – HealthPartners has named Steve Konnath senior vice president of actuarial and underwriting.
He will lead several key functions in the organization, including health plan rating, underwriting, trend analysis and financial product strategy.
“Steve is known for building strong, collaborative relationships and growing effective health plan solutions,” said Jennifer Danielson, HealthPartners Chief Health Plan Officer. “His leadership and expertise will be a great addition to our organization as we continue to deliver affordable, quality health care.”
Konnath has more than 35 years of experience. He most recently served as chief actuary and analytics officer for the senior market segment at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. He has also held leadership positions at Aetna and Physicians Mutual Insurance Company.
He will join the organization Aug. 1.
